Digital aviation document download service
The Digital Aviation Document Download Service allows you to download your Digital Personnel Licence(s) (DPL) to the GC Wallet app on your mobile device.
Before you begin, install the GC Wallet app and complete the registration checklist.
Install the GC Wallet app
Install the GC Wallet app on the mobile device you will use to carry your DPL. At a minimum, GC Wallet requires a device capable of running iOS 17 or Android 14.
Registration checklist
Digital credentials, like DPL, are created based on industry standards and can only be issued to a mobile app that is standards compatible. GC Wallet is the only app that is compatible with the standards used to support DPL issuance and usage.
A GCKey is a username and password that can be used to sign in to any Government of Canada online account that supports GCKey. You can use one GCKey to access any GCKey supported service, but you can create multiple GCKeys. You will have to setup two factor authentication if you use GCKey to access the Digital Aviation Document Download Service. For more information or support visit the GCKey help page.
